10/10 on the Care Index
All ten Medicare quality indicators met — the highest score the index gives — including nurse visits at the end of life and skilled visits on weekends. Look us up and compare.
Springdale sits at the mouth of Zion, about as far east as our service area goes — and yes, we come out here. Families in Springdale get the same 24-hour nurse line and the same visit schedule as families five minutes from our office.
Springdale is a genuinely different place to deliver care. It is a small permanent population inside a town built around several million annual visitors, which means canyon traffic in season and a long way to the nearest pharmacy. So we front-load: comfort medications stocked in the home early, equipment delivered before it is urgently needed, and a plan that does not depend on anyone making a fast round trip to St. George.
We also serve Rockville and Virgin just down the road. If you are caring for someone out here and have been told you are outside everyone's service area, call us — that is worth a direct answer rather than an assumption.
We come to wherever home is in Springdale: a private house, a family member’s spare room, an assisted living apartment, memory care, or a skilled nursing facility. The goal is always to avoid one more move.
Also serving nearby: Rockville, Virgin, and the homes along State Route 9 toward Zion. Not sure whether your address is inside our service area? Call and ask — the answer is usually yes.
For most families, nothing out of pocket. Hospice is covered under Medicare Part A, and Utah Medicaid and most private insurance plans cover it on similar terms. We verify your coverage and give you the numbers in writing before anything is signed. See exactly what is and isn’t covered →
That is the most common place families in Springdale start, and it is the right question to ask early rather than late. We wrote a plain-English guide to the signs, the first 48 hours, and how hospice differs from palliative care. Read: how do I know when it’s time? →
Every hospice bills Medicare the same daily rate. What differs is how often somebody actually comes to the house — which is exactly what Medicare’s Hospice Care Index measures.

Staffing decisions are made here in Southern Utah, by people who also go out on visits. You will know your nurse by name.
After-hours calls reach our own nurse — and a nurse will come out. Fewer emergency room trips at 2am.
Admissions happen seven days a week, including evenings. Call and we will come out and explain everything — free, and with no obligation.
